Intended Purpose and Data Minimisation

Bommersheim Consulting offers human resources and business consultancy services for media companies. We collect and use your personal data exclusively in conformity with the provisions of the data protection law of the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany. In the following, we advise you of the type, extent and purpose of the collection and use of personal data. Beyond this, no processing takes place for any purposes other than those specified in the following. You can retrieve this advice on this website at any time.

Transmission and Logging of Data for System-Internal and Statistical Purposes

When you access our website, your Internet browser automatically transfers data to our web server for technical reasons. This includes the date and time of access, the URL of the referring web site, the file retrieved, the quantity of data sent, the browser type and version, the operating system, and your IP address. This data is saved separately from any other data that you save in the course of using our offering. It is not possible for us to associate this data with a particular person. This data is evaluated for statistical purposes and subsequently deleted.

Inventory Data

SInsofar as a contractual relationship (consultancy agreement) between you and us is to be established, changed, or its content formulated, we will collect and use personal data from you as far as is necessary for these purposes. Storage of your personal data takes place in particular at registration/login.

Upon request by the competent authorities, we may in individual cases provide information on this data (inventory data) to the extent necessary for the purposes of criminal prosecution, averting danger, fulfilling the statutory duties of the constitutional protection authorities or the military counter-intelligence service or to assert intellectual property rights.

Usage Data

We collect and use your personal data to the extent necessary to enable your use of our Internet offering (usage data) or for billing purposes. These include in particular attributes for identifying you and information as to the start and finish as well as the extent of use of our service.
For the purposes of advertising, market research and the needs-based design of our Internet offering, we may compile use profiles using pseudonyms. You have the right to object to this use of your data. We are are not permitted to associate these use profiles with data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

Data subjects are clients, visitors to the website and business partners as well as employees. In this context, the surname, the given name, where appropriate the address and the IP are collected. However, this is only done to the extent described under Intended Purpose and Data Minimisation.

Legal Basis

The legal basis for the storage, processing and forwarding of your data is either your consent (e.g. upon establishing contact using the contact form) or a balancing of interests which has revealed no restriction to your rights and freedoms.

Data Deletion

If the purpose no longer exists and there is no legal retention period, the relevant personal data will be deleted. In general, the data is only stored for the duration of the aforementioned purposes.

Your data will not be passed on to any third party.

Transfer of Data to Third Countries

The transfer of data to third countries is not envisaged and does not take place.

You have the possibility and the right at any time to contact the data controller (see above) and request information on how your data is processed. Moreover, you have the right to rectification of your data. You have the right to restrict processing, i.e. to only admit the processing of partial information. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. Bommersheim Consulting will then check to what extent legal disclosure and processing obligations oppose such non-processing and inform you accordingly. You have the right of data portability, which means that, upon request, we will hand over your personal data to you in a machine-readable form in a commonplace format to be determined by us.

You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority responsible for data protection in your country, if you are of the opinion that we do not handle your personal data in a due and proper manner and in the spirit of this declaration.

If you have given us consent to process your data, you can withdraw this consent at any time.

If you receive advertising from us, you also have the right to object at any time to receiving any further advertising from us.
